TUNE Meseroles - The Tourist
Born in Brooklyn, then raised in Brixton, Meseroles was started by Jimmy Eaton in 2016 as a songwriting project out of the former Brooklyn Brewery at the edge of Williamsburg and Bushwick. After the fall of his American dream, Jimmy relocated to his native London, starting over again on home soil.
The songs are shimmering, melodic guitar gems, inspired by the loss of the dream, of those late and wild New York nights, but ultimately about redemption and making some of those moves we all must to fix it and begin again.
During the long hot summer of 2018, Jimmy called on friends Daniel Fell (The Teamsters, Bon Vivants), Nick Frater (Great Sheiks, Do Me Bad Things, Love), and Ben Handysides, with the four piece entering a listed building in South London to settle the scores made in Brooklyn.
The result is Meseroles, and ‘The Tourist’ is the first single in a lineup of monthly singles prior to the release of their debut album due summer 2019.
