Formed in April 2012, the Stoles is a multinational indie rock act based in Dublin, Ireland. With the guitar sounds encompassing the lightness of U2 and youthful energy of The Clash, vocal diversity ranging from Oasis to Queens of the Stone Age and upbeat tempo of Foo Fighters, the Stoles conveys a powerful message of social injustice and moral decay. Having recorded their debut EP at the legendary Westland Studios and played the renowned Dublin venues like Whelan's and Twisted Pepper, the Stoles have the ambition to become a superb live act, explore new musical territories and eventually make their first full length album.
The Last Mixed Tape: ‘Man In The Cave’ centred around shuffling rhythms, melodic bass lines and interweaving guitars the band’s new single plays with the indie-pop sound and sensibilities to create an undeniably catchy three minutes of Irish indie at it’s finest.
Pure M: Taking influence from some of the most enduring and groundbreaking alternative acts of the last several decades, they seem to be on the way to finding their niche within the industry. Adopting a fervent approach to rock they land somewhere between early U2 and The Killers sound wise.
