Stan Anderson Writes and performs his own original music and has written over 60 songs/instrumentals and copyrighted 20 or so of these original songs. He writes in various styles, but you would probably say his music is easy listening Pop and varied instrumental styles. Although he performs his own music, his main ambition is for other artists or groups to perform his music in their own genre. His interest in music started in the Mid to late sixties in Liverpool, during the Mersey Beat Era. Mike played guitar in several local covers bands until about 1969. He then continued playing guitar and writing the odd song for his own personal enjoyment, but did not get re-involved in the music scene until joining a country band in the early eighties. After a couple of months he decided country music was not for him and once again his involvement in music became just a hobby until, about 1998 when he decided to switch instruments from guitar to keyboards. This change brought about most of the music that you can listen to, on the various web sites across the world. Stan has worked with a Guy called Glynn Jones who is his next door neighbour and the odd thing was, that although Glynn and Stan had lived next door to each other for about 15 years, neither of them new the other was interested in music until recently, when Glynn’s wife mentioned that he wrote song lyrics. They have since written 5 songs together, Stan has also recently worked with another lyric writer Jim Radford on the Rocket Song and Lars E Carllson on I Play My Guitar. Stan continues to promote and expand the potential of his music, so if you would like to hear some more of his music go to the address below.
All music has an effect on my life, although not always as a musical effect
