TUNE Nancy - Clic Clac
Heralding the second chapter of his audacious sonic adventures, enigmatic newcomer NANCY offers a further glimpse of his sparkling potential with raucous new foot-stomper "Clic Clac", out today via B3SCI Records (Jungle, Thyla, Trudy and the Romance).
Fresh from his colourful reintroduction with dreamy, psycho-thriller "When I’m With You (I Feel Love)" earlier this autumn, the Brighton riser continues to shift boundaries and capitalise on the glittering praise that’s arrived throughout the online community and national radio airwaves over the last 18 months.
With much inspiration taken from his upbringing in North East England, where his own eccentricity helped develop a long-held obsession with pop music as a form of escapism, the mysterious figure’s newest cut is yet another bolt of searing energy, filthy riffage and off-kilter alt-rock, assembled in a way only NANCY could produce.
Discussing his bold new offering, NANCY revealed: “Clic Clac is an ode to anxiety, it is much quicker and shorter than anything I’ve written, it’s a head-rush. The soundtrack to my ‘quarter-life crisis’…or maybe I should just call it a crisis at this point. You’re going to need to strap seatbelts to your ears, cause I’m about to take them for the ride of their life”.
Accompanied by the experimental pop effort "6 Days a Week", NANCY’s "Clic Clac" is out now via B3SCI Records (as part of a double A-side) and is available on all digital platforms.
