New York Tourists Have been described as Queens of the Stone Age meets Foals, Crafting a brooding and frenetic brand of alt-rock with big choruses and energetic melodies, they instantly leave their stamp on your chest.
2015 started with the band recording their debut album which was funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign, which was later released through Native Records in April 2016 at their sell out show in front of 500 loyal supporters, whom they have built through years of dedication and infectious songwriting.
New York Tourists recently played their biggest gig to date at Hoghton Tower, Preston. In front of 12,000 people as main support to Status Quo, resulting in them being personally invited back by the band to play at their show at Scarborough open air theatre.
New York Tourists have appeared at numerous festivals including Kendal Calling, Shrewsbury Fields Forever, Tramlines, Dot to Dot and a host of other independents countrywide, as well as support slots with the likes of We Are Scientists, The View, Buzzcocks, and many more.
