Frank James Howard a.k.a Jville was born in Charleston, SC. December 08, 1982. At a young age he moved to Jacksonville, FL. Jville began practicing his craft at the age of eleven. Jville grew up in the church and was not allowed to listen to rap let alone watch the videos. He admits that his favorite song growing us was Daisy Dukes by the 69Boyz. This was the first video/song he'd ever heard that was not about the Lord. Ever since looking at the girls with the Daisy Dukes on, Jville has been driven and passionate about rapping. He attended Duncan Fletcher High School where he and his group at the time performed at local nightclubs and on the radio. Jville was featured on the High School Compilation Album presented by 92.7FM The Beat.
Jville's favorite artist include; Twista, Ludacris, Missy Elliot, and Jadakiss. He is influenced lyrically by the experiences in his life. After High School, Jville joined the US Army to support his child and continues today to serve his Country. Jville put pursuing his music career on hold due to the War in Iraq where he served for 13 months. Since returning home from war Jville has been grinding to make his dream and passion a reality. Redemption the first album release is definitely for the clubs and for those that like to dance. There is also a tribute to the Soldiers. Jville also known as SGT Howard amongst his troops, has been in the military for 10 years and is ready to turn in his M16 and ACU's for a Mic and Stage. Jville's music has the speed of Twista but the sound the is uniquely Jville. With his humble attitude and swift tongue, Jville is an artist to watch out for.
