"Let's Go" is the new single from Scottish producer and artist; "The Cat That Walks Alone". After traversing the globe recording and writing with other acts, he is now in Copenhagen working at his new studio. This is the first track recorded from there
"Let's Go" marks a new sound gained from his travels through Europe and Asia over the past two years. Influenced by various artists, studios and environments in each place, he has been working in many different and sometimes unusual settings including a residential studio on a canal boat.
Featuring both old school analog synths as well as modern sampling and electro drums, "Let's Go" features The Cat That Walks Alone's baritone drawl hooked up to a primal guitar riff that permeates, cutting through like a Schooner through an ice plate. Lending a slight nod to the better side of Iggy Pops solo output, "Let's Go" is the optimistic ode of stepping up to the plate, pushing through, and not letting "them" push you around. "..levitate, to this higher plane!".
The Cat That Walks Alone releases Push/Pull on the 27th February 2012. Push/Pull is the follow up single to his debut, which has now sold over 500 copies through airplay and word of mouth alone. The new single’s intricately layered guitars weave around an infectious synth and soaring chorus giving elements of MGMT, Biffy Clyro and Grandaddy, yet remaining characteristic of The Cat That Walks Alone in it's distinct vocals and pounding groove.
