King, Jamil Paris, was born and raised in the streets of Gifford, Florida in the Victory Park Apartments. At a young age King realized that he had exceptional writing abilities
and writing poetry was a favorite past time. Inspired by artist such as JT Money, Trick Daddy, and 2 Pac, artist that he felt used music to talk about what he knew to be reality, in his life. Music became a passion yet he found an outlet from his life through football. King’s athletic ability provided a means to escape a world of poverty and drugs and pursue a higher education. He swore to use the opportunity to later become a vessel that would reach back to his community and provide some type of assistance that would have a positive impact. Living in Gifford embedded a hunger within King that strives for success relentlessly.
King faced with a life altering medical condition that ended his college career after his sophomore season at the University of Kentucky. Thus, suspending the promising career before it could take off. King decided to pack up and move back to his home state Florida, completing his college education at Florida A&M University. With athletics no longer a priority in life; he
recorded a song called, “Area Codes” at Laylo Studios in Tallahassee, Florida. Shortly after submitting the song Joined the Slipnslide On Da Grind Program on November 2, 2009.Currently under management with SeurJamz Entertainment; King has declared that he will broaden his territory as his Kingdom grows within the industry. A humble yet captivating individual will definitely stamp his royal seal on the game.
