Darren Claxton is a Singer-songwriter and musician from Derbyshire in the UK. The music he writes is often described as heartfelt acoustic indie folk with a sprinkling of blues and country influences. His songwriting journey began in the early 2000's after discovering a love for writing lyrics and melodies. Darren is a self-taught musician and started with drums then guitar, bass and keys. He didn't start to sing properly until 2008, when he discovered that his voice fitted perfectly over his intricate guitar playing and heartfelt lyrics. Over the past few years Darren has been featured on BBC introducing in the East Midlands with airplay of songs, BREATHE, WAS IT RIGHT and LITTLE WORDS.
