Fledgling (all only 18 years of age) Chelmsford 3-piece BILK release their raucous debut ‘Give Up’ on 23rd February.
Frontman Sol’s Dad, who is a cab driver, inspired the band’s name - which comes from ‘Getting Bilked’, cabbie talk for when a customer runs off without paying the bill.
‘Give Up’ has been recorded with Rich Turvey at Parr Street Studios, Liverpool - who produced the Blossoms no. 1 album.
Having built a dedicated following through touring their visceral live show across local venues, the band next play The Bassment in Chelmsford on Jan 26th - BILK are set to announce further dates shortly.
