Heroic Hackney soul man Albert Gold
An alumnus of the British Academy Of New Music in downtown Stratford Albert Gold spends much of his spare time co-writing immensely melodic and hugely commercial soul-pop tunes with Sacha Skarbek (of which‘Don’t Let Me Go’ is one) in Kensaltown Studios and politely fielding comparisons with the likes of Frank Ocean, Sam Smith, Seal and the mighty Luther Vandross.
Albert Gold has played showcases for The Fix, Tipping Point, BBC Introducing, Sofar Sounds and Blackjack London in various nooks and crannies across the capital. He will be visiting various other nooks and crannies sometime soon.
